Number 13 is the beginning of one of the most difficult series of holes in all of Pennsylvania.  A well placed tee shot must avoid the pines to the left of the fairway and stay short of "the gulley".  If you find yourself in the fairway, the second shot demands a carry to an elevated green protected by 3 deep bunkers.  Avoid going left of the green if you want to avoid a big number.
