PGA Professional Services

PGA professional Jason Martonick returns to our staff as our teaching professional for the 2008 season.  A graduate of Penn State University's Professional Golf Management Program, he was elected to class-A status in 2002.  Before coming to Sugarloaf Golf Club, he was an assistant at the Penn State Blue and White Courses, Deal Golf and Country Club in New Jersey and Silver Spring Country Club in Ridgefield Connecticut.  Jason is the recipient of the PGA's prestigious President's Council Award for the fourth straight year.  Fewer than one hundred PGA Professionals nationwide have achieved this distinction.  Jason is the Head coach of the Hazleton Campus of Penn State University's Golf Team and is assistant coach of the Hazleton Area High School Cougar golf team.
