Tournament Summary & Highlights

The 33^rd Annual Marion E Knelly Memorial Invitational was held Friday, Saturday & Sunday at Sugarloaf Golf Club.  85 (2 person) teams participated.  The event attracts golfers from as far as California, Washington DC North Carolina, Alabama, Maryland, New York, New Jersey & Virginia as well as many top golfers from around the state.

Highlights:

Although Sunday’s round was shortened by rain, all flights were able to complete at least 6 holes of Sunday’s round.  This is the second time Bob Andrejko and Mark Bartkowski took top honors in the event.

Friday’s Medalist Team was Pat Mitchell of Scranton & Patrick Knelly of Sugarloaf who shot an 8 under par 64 to best the field.

Saturday’s medalist honors went to Bob Andrejko and Mark Bartkowski of Scranton who teamed up for an 8 under 64.
